Association for Career Development and Training (AKRO) started in November 2016 the implementation of the project “I can and I succeed!” supported by the Bulgarian Fund for Women. By promoting the achievements of young women in science, education, art, culture and business, the project aims to raise awareness among young people on issues of equality between women and men; to encourage young women to participate actively in all spheres of political and social life.
The main activity under the project is a positive information campaign to promote the accomplishments of successful young women in Plovdiv and the region.
The good example will motivate and encourage young girls to pursue a successful career and professional development which is the road to economic empowerment and financial independence.
